Aletsch Glacier, Switzerland

The Aletsch Glacier is the longest and largest glacier in the Swiss Alps, with a length of 23km and a volume of 15.4km3. 

It is located between the cantons of Bern and Valais on the Bernese Alps. 

The water from the glacier form the Massa River, which flows into the larger River Rhône.
